Our Teachers

The Founder of Spring Creek Spirituality is Randy Bell
, who serves as Director and Principal Teacher.

Randy is a Theist whose spiritual path has taken him to many diverse sources. He is guided by the teachings of many of the great Spiritual Masters, with an emphasis on the lessons from Buddha, Jesus of Nazareth, and Lao-Tzu.  He is a writer of a number of books and reference resources, as well as a blog on a variety of spiritual topics and a separate blog on social commentary issues. From 2005 through 2017, he built and offered a spiritual sanctuary in the mountains of western North Carolina where he welcomed people of all faiths and backgrounds to explore their spiritual path in quiet retreat.

Randy previously spent 30 years in higher education as a teacher, administrator, and independent management consultant and trainer in administrative planning to colleges and universities across the United States.  He was a Board member and Treasurer for the Advent Spirituality Center, and Board member for the Center for Art and Spirit at St. George's Episcopal Church in Asheville, NC. Randy is the President of McKee Learning Foundation, a publishing organization.  He is currently a member of Spiritual Directors International and the North Carolina Writers Network.

Over the years, Spring Creek Spirituality has been fortunate to also make available various other teachers and contributors as appropriate opportunities have arisen. These have included Joyce Rawlings-Davies providing instruction in the Enneagram spiritual method and the healing art of reiki; Margaret Goodson Graham guiding practitioners towards their personal peace through yoga practice; and Kathy Goodson helping individuals to incorporate the creative arts into one's spiritual practice.
